Gomez Addams, aka John Astin, appeared at the Historic Elitch Theatre twice with then-wife Patty Duke. In 1973 they appeared in A Shot in the Dark and in 1974 they returned in The Marriage Gambol.
Astin was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Live Action Short Film for his directorial debut, the comedic short Prelude (1968).
