Legendary actress, Teresa Wright, appeared at Elitch Theatre in 1976 in the play, Noel Coward in Two Keys. She was an Academy Award-winning actress and her appearance at the theatre was just a year after she appeared on Broadway in a revival of Death of a Salesman.
Four years after appearing at the theatre, Wright played a central role in the film Somewhere in Time (1980).
Not only was Wright one of the best of her generation, her list of co-stars is a who’s who of acting legends: Gary Cooper, Bette Davis, Marlon Brando, Greer Garson, Christopher Plummer, Christopher Reeve, and Spencer Tracy. Plus, she worked with many other Elitch alumni, including Joan Fontaine, Myrna Loy, Fredric March, and Farley Granger.
