While José Ferrer has been inducted into the American Theater Hall of Fame, and he’s received the National Medal of Arts (the first actor to receive the honor), and he’s even had a U.S. stamp in his honor…at the Historic Elitch Theatre, we’ll always remember him as the director and lead of A Song for Cyrano in the 1973 season.
