Beulah Bondi was part of the resident company of the theatre in 1925 and 1926.
Later, Bondi would play Jimmy Stewart’s mother in four films, including It’s a Wonderful Life and Mr. Smith Goes to Washington. In 1976 she won an Emmy for her role as Martha Corinne Walton in The Waltons TV show.
