Henrietta Crosman was a favorites of Denver theater audiences. She first appeared at HET in 1899 and in 1903 she returned with her own theatre company.
While Mary Elitch herself recalled that Antoinette Perry’s first appearance on a stage was a walk-on role at the Elitch Theatre in 1899 when she was just 11, her first credited role on a theatre stage was five years later in 1904 when she appeared in the play Olympe as the “Fifth Actress”. [Borrillo, p. 61]
However, we consider Antoinette’s first role to be a walk-on appearance at the Elitch Theatre in 1899.
