Mary Jackson (1962)

Mary Jackson has appeared on Broadway in such hits as “Kiss and Tell” and “Eastward in Eden,” was standby for Wendy Hiller in “Flowering Cherry” on Broadway, played the role twice. She has toured nationally in “Apple of His Eye” with Edward Arnold, and in “The Heiress” with Basil Rathbone. Miss Jackson was a member of the Chicago company of Tennessee William’s “Garden District” and also toured with the play; was featured with Shirley Booth in Chicago in “The Desk Set.” Film fans have seen her in Paramount’s “Anything Can Happen” with Jose Ferrer; radio fans know her as Mrs. Winston on “The Aldrich Family.” She has appeared in most of the major television network dramatic shows, including “Studio One,” “Philco,” “Mama,” “Lux,” “General Electric,” Fred MacMurray’s “My Three Sons,” “Margie,” “Bus Stop,” “Dobie Gillis.” Her many stock engagements include the Ann Arbor Spring Festival, Bucks County Playhouse, Ogunquit Playhouse, Alley Theatre in Houston. Originally from Michigan, Miss Jackson has been seen in Denver before—with the touring company of “Kiss and Tell.”
