SparkSource and Historic Elitch Theatre proudly present the 2026 Kids Theatre Camp — a week of imagination, creativity, and pure stage magic!
This year’s theme, “Shel Silverstein On Stage,” brings the whimsical world of the beloved children’s author to life. Campers will dive into acting, singing, dancing, improvisation, and theatre fundamentals — all leading up to a special performance on the iconic Historic Elitch Theatre stage.
From Falling Up to A Light in the Attic, Where the Sidewalk Ends, and more, Shel Silverstein’s whimsical way with words and imagery is just for children who can see magic in places adults might overlook! We will explore emotional expression through poetry, character development and dance while just having fun!
Whether your young performer is brand‑new to theatre or already loves the spotlight, this one‑week camp is the perfect place to explore, grow, and shine.
