Boyd Dumrose (1963)

Boyd is a different kind of “star” from the Historic Elitch Theatre, but he is no less deserving of recognition!

He is a two-time Emmy-winning Production/Set Designer, and he was Elitch Theatre’s Set Designer and Lighting Designer for over a decade (1963 through 1975.)

A master at his trade, Boyd was a craftsman with the pen and paintbrush. His sets were reviewed as often as the stars that performed on them. Audiences marveled at his detailed sets and furnishings right down to the hand-painted wallpaper.

In the winter months, Boyd was a very busy man on daytime television. He was the Set Designer/Production Designer for All My Children from 1969 to 2010, Loving (1982 -1995), The City (1995-1996) and The View (2009).
