The leading man was Lewis Stone. Chrystal Herne, one of the most promising and charming young actresses in the country, was the leading woman. She was the daughter of playwright James A. Herne. The director was Robert Morris. Among the plays for the season were George Bernard Shaw’s Man and Superman, James A. Herne’s Shore Acres, W. Somerset Maugham’s Smith and William, C. De Mille’s The Woman.
