1912

“Mary Elitch inaugurated a special Dramatic Festival for the last five plays of the season, selecting some of the best plays obtainable in America, among them being Charles Klein’s The Third Degree, Edward Shelton’s Salvation Nell and A. E. Thomas’ Her Husband’s Wife. Helen Ware and Bruce McRae were selected as featured performers of the plays, joining the cast for the festival. Robert Morris, the director, worked diligently in preparing the plays for the festival. Morris was one of New York’s best known producers. He was a native of Denver and received his first stage training at Elitch.”
