The Historic Elitch Theatre is proud to announce the second year of the Elitch Encore Series, bringing live theatre back to one of Denver’s most cherished venues. Following the overwhelming success of last year’s sold-out performances, the series will expand this summer, offering three exciting productions to delight audiences of all ages.
This year, the Elitch Encore Series promises to be bigger and better, with three incredible shows scheduled to run throughout the summer. Each production will feature two performances – a Saturday evening performance at 7:00 PM and a Sunday matinee at 2:00 PM.
The Historic Elitch Theatre presents three FREE concerts inside the beautifully restored Historic Elitch Carousel Shell, offering the community a fantastic way to enjoy live music in a historic setting. These Sunday afternoon performances showcase talented local artists, creating a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere for all ages.
With the charm of the Carousel Shell as a backdrop, the concerts provide a perfect blend of history, culture, and entertainment, making for a delightful new summer tradition. Bring a blanket, relax under the trees, and experience the magic of music in one of Denver’s most cherished landmarks—all at no cost!
This new program kicks off on June 15, 2025 with Denver’s favorite, Hazel Miller! Followed by Sentimental Sounds and the Denver Mandolin Orchestra, and closing with the Denver Philharmonic Orchestra.

Throughout the Summer (May thru October) we offer regularly scheduled and ticketed tours, as well as private group tours.

We have a unique sponsorship opportunity for one business looking to support the theatre and also help us thank our 100+ summer volunteers! This sponsorship costs $1,500 and it covers the cost of our volunteer t-shirts, plus it contributes to our end-of-year volunteer appreciation.
As our Volunteer Sponsor your commitment goes beyond mere financial assistance; it symbolizes a dedication to the community. Sponsoring the Historic Elitch Theatre is not only a strategic marketing opportunity — it offers valuable brand exposure with your logo on the back of the shirts — but it is also a meaningful way to invest in the preservation of Denver’s oldest cultural venue.
