
Board Secretary
Rachelle Kalkofen has worked as a project manager with Perry Rose LLC since 2008 and as a property manager with the master planned development, Highlands Garden Village where the Historic Elitch Gardens is located. In her work with Perry Rose, Ms. Kalkofen is also a senior analyst and project manager for their Community Development Entity, the Rose Urban Green Fund where she is actively involved in asset management, program compliance and deployment of funds to more than 22 low-income community investments to date and an expanding portfolio.
Ms. Kalkofen graduated from the University of Wyoming with a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology. Before working with Perry Rose, she has 7 years of combined experience as a laboratory research assistant with the University of Chicago and the University of Colorado with extensive knowledge in data collection, analysis and reporting; grant writing and editing; and holds authorship in the Journal of Biological Chemistry and Cell Death and Differentiation.
Ms. Kalkofen draws on her professional experience and close ties with Highlands Garden Village to assist the Historic Elitch Garden Theatre Foundation in operations, management, and administrative duties as Secretary of the Board.
