Concerts in the Carousel

This summer, we are doing a SECOND summer series of FREE concerts in the historic Carousel Shell at the original location of Elitch Gardens. Last summer's inaugural season of Concerts in the Carousel was a huge success and we're excited to continue the program.

The Carousel Shell dates back to the 1920s and it was a focal point of the park. Over the past 20+ years of restoration, many groups have expressed interest in performing at the theatre, so we're looking to collect a list of interested groups/bands who would like to support our fundraising and preservation efforts.

Please Note:

· Interest Form: This is just a form to express interest in our summer 2026 series -- this is not a confirmation or contract.

· Schedule: We are planning three concerts for July, August and September, on the fourth Sunday of the month, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.

· Performance Fee: We offer these concerts as free events for the community. However, we also hope to raise funds to support the preservation and on-going operations of the Historic Elitch Theatre (someone has to pay the light bill!) There will be no tickets and no admission, but we will solicit donations for the Theatre. Bands/Artists will be paid a fee of $600 for participating. We appreciate your participation that will support the ongoing preservation of the Historic Elitch Theatre.

· Sound Tech: We are able to provide a very minimal set-up -- a single microphone with two speakers (one in the carousel and one facing out to the lawn.) This is primarily intended for announcements.

· No Guarantee: Our plans for this series are tentative and we cannot guarantee that it will proceed. (It will depend on funding!) But we hope to finalize our plans by the end of March -- so we will be in touch!
