Founder of Perry Rose, Chuck Perry has extensive experience in community-based master planning and mixed-use, mixed-income infill real estate development. Perry specializes in socially and environmentally responsible developments with an emphasis on green affordable housing. Perry lead the development of the award winning Highlands’ Garden Village in Denver in all phases of work from concept to entitlements, financing, design, construction, and property management. Currently, Perry is involved in the development of “Aria”, the redevelopment of a 25-acre campus in North Denver. Other recent projects include revitalization plans and financial feasibility analysis for the Denver Housing Authority’s, Mariposa Hope VI, the Seattle Housing Authority’s, Yesler Terrace, and The City of Saint Paul’s 125 acre, Ford Site.

Prior to founding Perry Rose, Perry served as the Assistant Executive Director of the Denver Urban Renewal Authority. In that capacity, Perry managed the redevelopment of the Denver Dry Goods Building, Denver’s first historic mixed use, mixed income, mass transit proximate redevelopment. Perry also served as a senior housing planner for the Denver Planning Office. Perry holds a Ph.D. in Urban and Regional Planning from Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a specialization in citizen participation, land use and environmental planning.
