Join us for the 6th annual Summer Film Series.  The first two films will be in the theatre, where the first screening of a motion picture in Colorado took place in 1896 when Edison brought his Vitascope to Denver.  The indoor line-up is Star Wars The Force Awaken, 7pm on June 16th  with Virtual Reality Stations available from 4 to 6pm.  SING will be a matinee at 2:00 pm on June 17th, with a sing-a-long starting at 1:30 pm and an ice cream social provided by Little Man Ice Cream following the show.

This year’s outdoor line-up includes La La Land on June 30th with musical guests MSquared and Terri Jo Jenkins, Princess Bride on July 14th with musical guests 300 Days, and Denver Fencing Center, ET on July 28 with a special Kids Zone, Fantastic Beasts on August 11th with magician Mitch Harwood and Natures Educators Raptor show, Dirty Dancing on August 25th with dancing in the carousel from 6:30 – 7:30 pm.  Doors open at 6:00 pm. Tickets can be purchased at the gate for $5.00, if the event has not sold out before hand through the online ticketing.  We accept cash or credit at the door for ticketing.  It is helpful if you bring a copy of your ticket, but we can check you in without it.  Please bring some form of ID.

All outdoor entertainment precedes the films starting at 6:30 pm and the film begins at dusk.  Heidi’s Brooklyn Deli will be providing great sandwich deals with all proceeds going to the theatre.  We have an inexpensive concession stand with candy, popcorn, sodas and water.   Bring your blankets, low back chairs, food and drink for an enjoyable evening on the lawn.   Well behaved dogs are allowed but keep in mind small children like to run and play before the film.
